We’ve recently redesigned the Selfkey.org website with performance improvements and updated information on our latest progress. These changes should help the website load faster both on desktop and mobile devices. There will also be updated resources coming soon for developers, relying parties, and certifiers as the ecosystem grows.
Our long term goals for 2019 and beyond are also broken down into five phases: Liftoff, Orbital, Spaceflight, Moon, and Interstellar. Each phase has certain milestones attached that we will be updating accordingly every quarter. You can find more details on the roadmap here.
There ESelfKey Identity Wallet is now available on three desktop systems: Mac, Windows, and Linux. If you’re a Linux user, please let us know of any feedback at [email protected]. You can download the wallet here.
In the upcoming Crypto Exchange marketplace, you’ll be able to open new crypto accounts with just a few clicks that utilizes the information in your ESelfKey ID. This month we’ve updated the layout of the main marketplace page so it’s easier to compare different exchanges based on your requirements. We’ve also updated some interface elements within the application such as icons, text, and other minor details that will provide a better experience.
In the upcoming Bank Accounts marketplace, you will be able to open an overseas bank account in a variety of jurisdictions. Your ESelfKey ID will be utilized in a way that makes KYC and the identity verification process much easier. Currently the technical designs and requirements are done, along with wireframes on the workflow. We’ll provide more information as we make progress.

Currently your identity is fragmented across many platforms such as drivers licenses, university diplomas, passports, work badges, utility bills, national IDs, and more.
Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) offer a method to keep all fragments of your identity under a digital umbrella that only you control. ESelfKey Announces A Comprehensive Partnership with InstaSwap: The partnership will see InstaSwap list KEY as well as integrate Login with ESelfKey (LWS), providing ESelfKey Wallet users with convenient one-click access to the platform. ESelfKey & Quanta Announce Comprehensive Partnership: As one of Singapore’s most exciting new trading platforms, Quanta offers the only trading protocol with on-chain token custody, fully decentralized security, and an auditable, anti-front-running ledger. The partnership between ESelfKey and Quanta will involve listing KEY, integrating Login with ESelfKey (LWS), and listing Quanta in the upcoming ESelfKey Marketplace. (Link)
Blockchain-Powered Social Media Platform RepMe Forms Comprehensive Partnership with ESelfKey & KYC-Chain: RepMe is an exciting new Social Media platform that uses distributed ledger technology to provide individuals with a better way of networking. One vital component, which mainstream Social Media platforms fail to deliver, is identity verification. As a result, fraudulent accounts wreak havoc, often to the detriment of normal, every-day users. RepMe aims to change that.
